Students are introduced to the basic concept of abacus. They learn addition and subtraction of all numbers using the abacus tool.
Students begin mental visualization. They learn addition of double-digit numbers with double-digit numbers and subtraction of two-digit numbers from two-digit numbers. Calculations are done in three rows.
The difficulty level increases. Students solve addition and subtraction of two-digit and three-digit numbers in two to four rows. Focus is on strengthening mental visualization. They start solving problems without using the abacus physically.
Students practice single-digit, double-digit, triple-digit, and four-digit addition and subtraction. They begin practicing multiplication tables. They also learn four-digit and five-digit addition and subtraction with increased number of rows, ranging from five to ten rows. Basic multiplication using tables is introduced.
Students practice mixed questions involving 1-digit to 5-digit numbers in addition and subtraction. Visualization is strongly emphasized. Multiplication is introduced in detail:

This level is a combination of everything learned in the previous levels. Students solve mixed problems including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and decimals. This level serves as a final test and complete revision of all previous concepts.
